Events hosted by schools for families and staff to connect and provide support.

Our team of interpreters provide support to multi-lingual learner families and students.

The Cultural Learning Center provides langugae classes and events for families.
BCSC Technology support
Our technology department supports 1:1 devices, digital learning tools, and more.
Spring 2024 Family Engagement
Read in the park event at LF Smith Elementary provided families with free books, reading supplies, and literacy support.
Spring 2024 Family Engagement
Family engagement interpreters for LC Schmitt Elementary, Taylorsville Elementary, and Clifty Creek Elementary provided family outreach events to provide academic information to families in native languages.
Spring 2024 Family Engagement
Central Middle School incoming family openhouse provided incoming 7th grade families with information about course offerings, teaming, extra-curriculars, and additional programming.

Columbus North High School cohort outreach events provided students in the 2025 and 2026 graduation classes with FAFSA information, diploma pathway information, and tutoring.

The Cultural Learning Center organized English speaking classes and gatherings for families and members of the community.
EFFECT Grant
Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation received the 2024 EFFECT (Engagement for Families, Educators, Community Together) from IN*SOURCE. As part of the grant, BCSC will serve as a model site in the region for family engagement.
